Feature
Clients can now have their survey report explained back to them in plain English — or in Polish, Romanian, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati, Arabic, Somali, Portuguese, Spanish, Lithuanian, Turkish, Chinese or Welsh. One tap in their portal reads the issued report and lays it out the same way every time: what was found, what it means for them, what happens next, and good questions to ask you. Your report stays the formal document — this is the version that stops a household guessing, and stops you fielding the same five questions on the phone.

Feature
Invite a client and they get a link that simply works, on any device, whenever they want to check on their survey. Inside, they accept or decline your quote on the job it belongs to, confirm an appointment or ask to rearrange it, add the visit to their calendar, leave you an access note, message you about the survey, see the air readings from a monitor you've fitted, pay an invoice and download their report. Confirmations, access notes and questions land on your job page. If a link ever reaches the wrong person, one click revokes every copy already sent.

Improvement
Clients leave a review straight from their portal, with no account to create — and only against a report you actually issued to them, one review per report. They choose whether it's published on your public SurveyMate profile or sent privately to you alone, and how they'd like to be credited. There's no open review link anyone can post through, so every rating on your profile comes from a real client of yours.

Feature
New free calculators and references, no sign-up needed. An Awaab's Law deadline calculator counts the statutory working days for you, and a dew-point and condensation-risk calculator, a U-value calculator and a ventilation-rate calculator help you diagnose damp on the spot. A plain-English damp and mould glossary rounds it out. Handy on site, and a good first taste of how SurveyMate thinks.

Your dashboard now surfaces more of the caseload you need to act on. A new Awaab's Law view lists breached statutory deadlines most-overdue first with an overdue-days badge, an SLA tracker measures real turnaround against your target window, and two new widgets show this month's completions against last month and the queue of reports still to deliver.

Every report now renders to one high standard: a clickable table of contents, an executive summary dashboard, clear data charts, a reading register, and a consistent cover, declaration and sign-off. Tables wrap cleanly and every section is purpose-built, so what you hand a client, lender or tribunal is polished and complete every time. A behind-the-scenes consistency check also flags anything that does not add up before you issue.

Feature
Pin each finding to its precise spot by tapping a room outline, and your report now carries a per-room floor-plan diagram with numbered defect markers and a matching legend. Mark the exact damp patch on a photo, and draw or import a room's floor plan in seconds. It turns a written finding into spatial evidence a client — or a tribunal — can see at a glance.

Feature
Connect IoT damp and mould sensors and watch a property's temperature, humidity and CO₂ trend in real time, right on the property page. SurveyMate flags a property automatically when it drifts into mould-growth risk, so you can act before it becomes a complaint. Setup is self-serve: copy one webhook address into your sensor provider and devices appear on their own.

Feature
Ask WorkMate to invite a client to your portal, send a finished report to the client (on its own or alongside the invoice), or explain your plan and what an upgrade would add. It already captures surveys by voice, diagnoses damp and builds the report — now it handles more of the admin around them, too.
15 June 2026
Feature
Add an indicative cost band to any recommendation so clients can budget at a glance. Pull standard limitations and professional declaration wording into the report with a tap, from a curated, survey-type-aware library. And include a full Glaser interstitial-condensation analysis (BS EN ISO 13788) as a report section, with the layer-by-layer profile and verdict.

Reschedule a job by dragging it to a new day on the calendar, and export your appointments to Apple, Google or Outlook in one tap. See when a client has opened a report you shared, and let clients browse their survey photos in the portal. You can also now choose exactly which notifications you receive.
09 June 2026
Feature
Standard sections in a custom report template can now be switched on or off block by block, so your PDF contains exactly what your firm reports on and nothing it doesn't. Edits apply to new reports immediately.

Dictate to WorkMate hands-free on site, and drag photos straight into the chat for AI-assisted damp and mould diagnosis. The assistant lives in a redesigned anchored popup with a smaller floating button, contextual entry points across the dashboard, and a pre-survey brief before you head out to a job.

Ask about "the Smith job on Elm Road" and WorkMate finds the right survey even when the wording isn't exact, and keeps you posted with a clear status while it works. Designed to keep you moving on site rather than fighting the tool.
20 May 2026
Feature
Cases approaching an Awaab's Law statutory deadline escalate automatically: a scheduled monitor watches every open case's clock, flags those at risk, and can draft the statutory notice for you — so a deadline never depends on someone remembering to look.
13 May 2026
Feature
Every morning SurveyMate prepares a briefing of what needs your attention — jobs due, compliance clocks running, and invoices at risk — surfaced as a "Briefing ready" card on the dashboard. The revenue-at-risk monitor keeps unpaid invoices and stalled quotes in view so nothing is overlooked.

Improvement
Reports can include precipitation and wind alongside temperature and humidity for the survey date, giving findings proper environmental context. Visibility is surveyor-controlled per report, so you decide whether weather rows appear in the client-facing PDF.
